Day1 - Arrive Delhi
Traditional welcome on arrival at Delhi international airport and transfer to hotel.
Day2 - Delhi
After breakfast, guided tour of historic city of Delhi. The city where one can experience the influence of the many rulers who ruled this region, a city built and destroyed and re-built over seven times. The guided tour takes to the monuments that depict the different eras. The tour includes the magnificent Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Asia's largest mosque, Rajghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi - the "Father of the Nation". Afternoon tour of New Delhi to include Humanyun Tomb, Birla Mandir, Bahai Temple, Qutab Minar, India Gate, President'' House and drive through Connaught Place. Evening, see Son-et-Lumerie at Red Fort (optional). Overnight at hotel.
Day3 - Delhi - Jaipur (265 kms/ 5 hrs)
Breakfast. Drive onto Jaipur - the Pink City of Rajasthan. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel. Later, take a guided half-day city tour of Jaipur covering Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), City Palace, Jantar Mantar (Royal Observatory). Overnight at hotel.
Day4 - Jaipur
Enjoy a royal breakfast at hotel. Then guided excursion to the majestic Amber Fort - the erstwhile capital of the Kachwahas Rajputs before they moved to their newly built capital in Jaipur. This is the only fort where one can still go by the elephant back even today like a Maharaja. Evening at leisure for enjoying the real charm of this royal city to stroll in the local bazaars to see some handicrafts and artisans. Overnight at hotel.
Day5 - Jaipur – Ranthambore (155 kms / 3 hrs)
Breakfast. Drive to Ranthambore. On arrival check into the hotel. Afternoon visit the Ranthambore Fort and then take a jeep safari into the park. Overnight at hotel.
Day6 - Ranthambore (day excursion to Bundi & Tonk)
After breakfast, take a day excursion to Tonk and Bundi. In Bundi visit the Bundi palace, Raniji-ki-Baoli (Queen's step well), the Dhabhai Kund and the Bhora-ji-ka-Kund. Tonk is an old town dating to the middle of the 17th century. It is famous for its Sunehri Kothi with its intricate mirror work and colourful medley of painted mosques, mansions and colonial buildings. Return to Ranthambore. Overnight at hotel.
Day7 - Ranthambore – Agra (275 kms / 6 hrs)
Breakfast at hotel. Then proceed to Agra via Fatepur Sikri; a World Heritage Site. Assisted by a guide visit this world famous complex of monuments and temples built in a uniform architectural style. Drive onto Agra. On arrival, check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day8 - Agra – Gwalior (118 kms / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast visit the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. The Taj Mahal of Agra is a monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of her wife Mumtaz Mahal while the Agra Fort was built by Emperor Akbar. Built with red sandstone the Fort is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture. Afternoon drive to Gwalior. On arrival, check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day9 - Gwalior- Shivpuri (112 kms / 3 hrs)
Post breakfast a half day guided tour of Gwalior including the Gwalior Fort, Teli-ka-Mandir, Sas-Bahu Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace and Tansen’s Tomb. Evening proceed for the Shivpuri. Overnight at hotel.
Day10 - Shivpuri- Chanderi- Orcha (270 kms / 6 hrs)
An early morning safari to Madhav National Park. After breakfast guided sightseeing of Shivpuri summer capital of the Scindia rulers of Gwalior including Chhatris, Madhav Vilas Palace, Sakhya Sagar Boat Club, Bhadaiya Kund. Afternoon drive to Orrcha enroute visit Chanderi, surrounded by hills, lakes and forests, and there are several monuments of Bundela Rajputs and Malwa Sultans. Overnight at hotel.
Day11 - Orrcha- Khajuraho (170 kms / 3 hrs)
After breakfast a guided tour of Orrcha including Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Chaturbhuj Temple, Laxminarayan Temple and Chhatris (Cenotaphs). In the afternoon drive to Khajuraho. Overnight at hotel.
Day12 - Khajuraho
Breakfast followed by a guided tour of Chandela dynasty temples famous for their spectacular sculptures and carvings. Visit the Northern, Eastern and Southern group of temples. Evening for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day13 - Khajuraho- Bandhavgarh (237 kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast leisurely drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. This is also known as the ‘white tiger country’. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for many years. On arrival check in resort. Evening in leisure. Overnight at jungle resort.
Day14 - Bandhavgarh
Take an early morning jungle safari. After breakfast day for leisure until the evening safari to get a chance to view and enjoy more than 22 species of mammals and 250 species of birds. Overnight at resort.
Day15 - Bandhavgarh – Kanha (260 kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Kanha. On arrival, check into a jungle resort. Take a jungle safari for another chance to view the royal tiger and other wildlife. In the evening visit the Bamni Dadar, near the National Park. This place is also known as the sunset point and the Park view is at it scenic best from this point. The grazing sambhar, barking deer, gaurs, and other animals make the ambience magical. Overnight at the resort.
Day16 - Kanha – Raipur (220 kms / 4 hrs) – Chennai (flight)
Early breakfast, then drive to Raipur to catch a flight to Chennai. On arrival, check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day17 - Chennai – Bangalore (flight) – Bandipur (170 kms / 4.5 hrs)
Catch an early morning flight to Bangalore. Drive straight to Mudumalai. Stopover for breakfast at Mysore. Arrive Mudumalai by lunch. Check into hotel. Evening take a jeep safari into the forest. Overnight at hotel.
Day18 - Bandipur – Bangalore (170 kms / 4 .5 hrs)
Breakfast. Drive to Bangalore to catch a flight to onward destination.
